Lisa Conway / L CON returns to Guelph for a special presentation of sound works and experiments in-progress, using tape machines, four speakers, and analog synthesizers. An exploration of aural spaces, time, and the intermediary.
Lisa Conway-Bühler is a Swiss-Canadian composer, sound artist, songwriter, producer, and mix engineer. She is the recipient of the 2023 Kenny Doren Award. The award, which bears the name of the late Canadian media artist and composer Kenny Doren, is given to people who have made outstanding artistic contributions to media art, particularly in the field of audio.
