Our rental policy is designed to ensure a smooth and transparent process for all our customers. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before proceeding with a rental.
Reservation and Availability
- Reservations: Members are encouraged to reserve equipment up to six weeks in advance to ensure availability. Membership in good standing is required for all reservations.
- Availability: All equipment is subject to availability and is rented on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rental Period
- Minimum Rental Period: The minimum rental period is 24 hours.
- Pickup and Return: Equipment must be picked up between 1 pm and 4 pm, and returned between 10 am and 12 pm on scheduled dates.
- Late Returns: Late returns will be subject to additional charges. Please contact us if you anticipate a delay in returning the equipment.
Pricing and Payment
- Pricing: Rental prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice.
- Payment: Full payment is required at the time of rental. We accept major credit cards and other approved payment methods.
- Deposits: A security deposit may be required for certain equipment. The deposit will be refunded upon the safe and timely return of the equipment.
Equipment Care and Responsibility
- Inspection: All equipment is inspected and tested before rental. Members are encouraged to inspect the equipment upon pickup and report any issues immediately. Any unreported issues with equipment may be considered the fault of the member and subject to any applicable repair or replacement fees.
- Care: Members are responsible for the proper care and handling of the equipment during the rental period.
- Damage, Loss, or Theft: Members are liable for any damage, loss, or theft of the equipment. Members will be required to reimburse any repair or replacement fees incurred by Ed Video. Any damage, loss, or theft must be reported to Ed Video staff immediately. In cases of theft Ed Video requires a copy of a police report for our records.
Acknowledgment Policy
Ed Video members are required to acknowledge Ed Video when using our equipment or resources, see this page for more information.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental period will incur no charges. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.
