Ed Video welcomes Julie René de Cotret, who has joined our team as Executive Director starting Friday, May 30th! We are excited for the new direction and perspective Julie will bring to this position and to the organization. Welcome Julie!
Julie René de Cotret is a gender neutral French-Canadian independent programmer, born in Tiohtiá:ke / Montreal. They now live and practice in the Ajetance Treaty Territory. They have exhibited and independently curated exhibition projects internationally: Canada, US, Sweden, Greece, Switzerland, Korea, Germany. René de Cotret is cofounder and independent curator/director of the artist residency program at the School of Environmental Science, University of Guelph, Ontario, (2009-2022), and Artistic Director of The Fabulous Festival of Fringe Film (2024-). They have been an active board member in ARC’s for over 17 years, and have chaired two boards of Directors.
